  Excellent food. As good as I recall from our last visit almost 20 yrs ago.

  Food was sublime. Cannot be faulted. My tastebuds were on their own little holiday. Staff however, appeared to be rather stressed and this was visible to us patrons. My advice would be to relax and enjoy your evening, as we certainly did ourselves

  What a great little restaurant in Ambleside. If you are a dog lover and like Italian this is the place for you. Downstairs set aside for dog owners and thier dogs. Coal fire for warmth and each dog has its own mattress water bowl and plate of doggie biscuits. The food was good the staff attentive and the atmosphere cosy. Will definitely be back and would recommend this restaurant to everyone
