    Quirky little Cafe on lots of levels. Best enjoyed in the summer when you can sit outside next to the babbling stream.
    The cheese roll contained huge chunks of cheese! Good food, lovely staff. Just a bit quiet in January on a Friday!

    Worth a visit for cream tea when in Ambleside. It's right next to a bubbling brook, and has a water mill (it was being repaired when I visited). Service was friendly and quick, and there's a great selection of cakes. It's got a casual but cosy atmosphere, and feels like a really relaxed place. It has Destin outside for the warmer months too.
